Previous projects have taken place in Africa, Ecuador, Peru and Borneo. Below is a list of previous Challenge locations, the projects we have delivered and the endurance challenges we have completed.
Projects:
Asia
Borneo – built and installed environmentally friendly hydro-electricity power system for a jungle community
South America
Ecuador & Peru – built clinics, academies & community kitchens and set up water conservation projects in urban slums and rural villages
Africa
Kenya, Tanzania & Zambia – built kindergartens, academies and adult education centres in the bush. Sponsored feeding programmes in the Kibera slums and in rural bush areas. Installed solar panels to existing schools to provide power and create a micro-economy
Endurance Challenges:
Asia
Borneo – Climb mount Kinabalu (4,095 Meters)
South America
Ecuador – Climb Cotopaxi, the world’s highest active volcano (5,896 Meters)
Peru – Trek the Salkantay or Inca trail to Machu Picchu
Africa
Tanzania – Trek to the summits of Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and Mount Kenya
