In 2011 a group of BT Apprentices and Graduates completed two projects in Ecuador:
1 – Funding and construction of a school academy which will initially support 200 students but will eventually grow to support over a thousand children living in the community.
2 – Funding and construction of a community kitchen close to the school.
The endurance challenge this time was probably the toughest yet – climb Cotopaxi, the world’s highest active volcano, which stands at an incredible 5,896 meters above sea level.
